Organization plan of construction for a new nuclear power plant EDU II

ŠKODA PRAHA has developed a concept for a Organization plan of construction for a new EDU II nuclear power plant with an installed capacity of 1,200 MW. POV was successfully presented and handed over to ČEZ, a.s. in June 2020.

NPP Mochovce - assembly of 4 generators 300 MVA / 270 MW

ŠKODA PRAHA provides assembly of four hydrogen-cooled generators and auxiliary systems, including the installation of busducts conductors, static excitation systems and the delivery and installation of a noise protection cover. At the end of 2020, the work was handed over at Unit 3. The handover of the work on block no. 4 is planned for April 2021.

NPP Temelín - increase of the capacity of the Býšov retention reservoir

ŠKODA PRAHA successfully completed the project of increasing the capacity of the Býšov retention reservoir for the NPP Temelín in September 2020. The project included the elaboration of the necessary project documentation and the subsequent reconstruction of technical infrastructure and complete cleaning of the reservoir. Although it was construction work, it was necessary to meet all customer requirements for the implementation of nuclear contracts.

Utilization of wastewater from ÚDV Bílina mine in Ledvice Power Plant

ŠKODA PRAHA verified and tested the possibilities of pre-treatment and desalination of wastewater from the Bílina WWTP and its subsequent use for cooling at the Ledvice Power Plant.

Repair of the inner shell of the cooling tower of the CCGT Počerady

In October 2020, ŠKODA PRAHA completed the repair of the inner shell of the cooling tower OB12 of the 880 MWe the CCGT Počerady (combined cycle gas turbine unit).
