Consultancy Agreement with company Hema Elektrik Üretim A.Ş for the Design review services for the construction of 2x660 MW ultra super critical coal fired plant in Amasra, Turkey.

The main goal of provided services is to review the basic and detail design of greenfield coal fired power plant which is to be constructed near the town of Amasra in Bartin region, Turkey. The power plant will use local hard coal and will have installed capacity of 2 x 660 MW with ultra super critical parameters. EPC contractor for the power plant is Chinese company Dongfang Electric Corporation Limited.

ŠKODA PRAHA a.s. task is to review basic and detail design for civil, electrical, I&C and mechanical works with respect to the project requirements and local environmental conditions.

ŠKODA PRAHA a.s. design review team would maintain on overview of the contractor’s design to ensure that good engineering practice and compliance with the contract and relevant code and standards are achieved by reviewing critical drawings and documentation in accordance with the owner’s approval.
